Lysias is a privateer who sails beneath an Alhambran flag, and is known by pirates who haunt the shores of Irem Zhat al Imad as the Black Dog of the Sea. He's been occasionally known to introduce himself as a Chantris, although he's not been seen in Amber much, if at all, in the past few centuries.

Lysias has recently been said to be a Moonfall, a clan believed to have been wiped out during the Regency Wars with Amber. This makes his status in Weirmonken open to question - as the only known male, he is the technical alpha of a clan that had been declared dead.
