The Shift
The shifting of the Weir from human to wolf has been described as a beautiful thing to behold. There is a shimmer of moonlight and within the spans of a few heartbeats, man becomes beast. The change is not instantaneous, but it is not the bone-cracking, goo-splattering, violent shifting of lesser creatures known in the legend and lore of various shadows as werewolves. The Weir are something more, something controlled, and something great.
